Striking gold at the NPPA awards
Sudocrem® and Infacol® both scooped gold at the recent National Parenting Product Awards (NPPA) 2018 in Ireland.
Sudocrem came top in the Best Baby Nappy Cream category while Infacol® won the Best Baby Treatment for Relief of Colic.
The biggest names in baby and child products attended the celebratory luncheon, held at the Westbury Hotel in Dublin city centre on 25 September, including Pampers and Mothercare.
Yvonne Neeson, Senior Product Manager for Generics and OTC, said: “I’m so proud to win these awards because they are independently tried and tested by parents.
“The fact that the products are voted for by real mums and dads makes the awards really powerful.”
Now in its fifth year, the NPPA event covers 55 categories, from nursery items to baby care products and travel systems. In total, the products were tested by more than 300 mums and 20 experts.
Yvonne, who collected the award for Sudocrem® at the ceremony, added: “Sudocrem® is an iconic brand in the Irish market, trusted and used by generations of Irish parents.
“To win this award for the second year in a row demonstrates the power and the trust that consumers have in the brand.”
